Sully AGAINST ATC PRIVATIZATION
A new lower-cost subsidiary was unveiled on Thursday by Air France. It’s named as Joon. The new airline is targeting the young working group particularly between the ages of 18 and 35 who have the passion for travel.
The launching is a strategical move to face the competition from the budget carriers in Europe such as EasyJet, Etihad and Emirates.
Though it is intended to be operating at low cost the airline mentioned that Joon will offer original products and services that reflect of Air France.
The new airline will begin the medium-haul services from Charles de Gaulle airport by the end of this year. Long-haul flight would commence only during the summer in 2018.
