The Ottawa bound Air Canada flight no AC 476, Boeing 767-300ER took off from the Pearson Airport at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday night with 175 passengers.
The airplane’s pilot detected an “engine anomaly, and diverted the plane back to airport. Though emergency vehicles were on standby, the Flight AC476 landed normally.
Air Canada says none of its 175 passengers aboard the flight were injured. But crews are working to determine the cause of the incident.
The plane is now out of service for inspection by its maintenance team.
