Airbus has delivered only nine A320neo family jets during July.
This is the lowest total for a month since January this year. But the nine jets included four Prat & Whitney PW1100G engines, the second highest number for the same period. In March it delivered five.
The customers who bought the four aircraft were Volaris, Lufthansa, All Nippon Airways and S7 Airlines.
The other five A320neos fitted with the rival CFM International Leap-1A engine were delivered to Air India, Vistara, SAS, AirAsia and EasyJet.
Airbus has been aiming to deliver around 200 A320neos this year. Total A320neo deliveries up to July this year reached 68 – of which 48 were Leap-equipped.
