Thai Airways’s first Boeing 787-9 Reg HS-TWA has arrived at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport on 17 September.
The airplane is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines and its cabin configured to accomodate 30 business class and 268 economy seats.
The aircraft named “Phatthana Nikhom” is scheduled to operate between Bangkok and Chiang Mai from 23 to 30 September, and then the Bangkok to Singapore route from 1 October to 15 November.
Currently Thai operates six 787-8s Dreamliner out of its total fleet of 78 aircraft.
