Turkish Airlines (THY) was awarded “Five-Star Global Airline” title at the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) Award Ceremony at Expo 2017 in Long Beach, California yesterday, based on passenger preferences.
The APEX is recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious aviation organizations. It is professionally managed by Kellen Company, the premier global association management firm with offices and representation in the United States, Europe, China, the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia.
For the past consecutive years, THY was chosen “Best Airline in Southeast Europe”. The other awards of the company include the Best Airline in Europe for 6 consecutive years starting in 2011, Best Business Class Onboard Catering in 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2017, and the World’s Best Business Class Lounge awards in 2015 and 2017.
THY has 328 aircraft (passenger and cargo) flying to 300 destinations in 120 countries, including 251 international and 49 domestic destinations.
