As part of Airbus A330neo family, airbus announced that A330-800neo production is well underway and will continue towards start of the final assembly by the end of 2017. The scheduled first flight will be in 2018.
The A330-800, a 257-typical seater aircraft will incorporate the award-winning all new ‘Airspace’ cabin inspired by A350 XWB.
The aircraft will be powered by Rolls Royce Trent 7000 engines with Sharklet wingtip, result in reduced fuel burn with a range of 7,500 nautical miles.

Airbus has delivered over 1,300 A330 aircraft to 117 customers worldwide.
