A Eurofighter crashed near the Los Llanos Air Base in Albacete, south of Madrid, in Spain when it was returning from Military parade.
The jet was on its way back from participating in a military parade in Madrid to mark the Hispanic Day, an annual national Bank Holiday commemorating the day of Christopher Columbus set foot in the America in 1492.
The pilot identified as Capt.Borja Aybar of the 61st Air Force Division, reported failed to eject and perished with the jet.
The crash apparently took place near a public park La Pulgosa, just south of Albacete at 12.36 local time.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine, canard-delta wing, multirole fighter jet.
