The first Boeing 787-10 for Singapore Airlines, just rolled out of the paint shop. According to Boeing, Singapore Airlines is the launch customer of Boeing 787-10 and is committed to purchase 19 of them.
The Boeing 787-10 is the newest and longest member of the Boeing 787 family. It is a stretch version (5.5m) of the 787-9 and can accomodate 40 more seats than 787-9 (4 in Business class and 36 in Economy class)
Boeing says, The airframe is made of spun-carbon fiber and cabin environmental system is designed to lessen the jet lag.
It’s the first Boeing plane to be manufactured outside of the Seattle area in North Charleston.
