Aviation Business Awards, in its annual ceremony session held in Dubai, proclaimed Jazeera Airlines as the “Low cost Airline of the year 2017”.
Jazeera Airways is the National Carrier of Kuwait operating regionally and internationally among Middle East Countries since 2004.It flies to 20 destination with 7 Airbus A320-200s, and Lufthansa Technik is maintaining the planes.
The airline has ordered 30 Airbus A320 as part of their multi-million dollar expansion programme including inaugurating new route to Hyderabad of India in November, followed by the routes to Kochi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
The aircrafts of Jazeera Airways are fitted with 165 leather seats, equipped with inflight entertainment and split into two cabins.
The CEO of Jazeera Rohit Ramachandran said, after receiving the award, that he gives the credit to the 492 staff who are committed in serving the customers and the 1.3 million passengers who have chosen to fly with Jazeera Airways last year.
