A Flybe aircraft flight No BE2975 veered off from the runway as it was taxiing for the take off and ran on to the grass ground as one of the tyres got punctured at the Stornoway airport
The light fittings on the runway seem to have caused the damage.
Emergency services emerged and none of the 29 passengers nor three crew were injured or hurt.
Stornoway Airport is an airfield located on the Isle of Lewis, in Scotland. The airfield was opened in 1937, and was then used mainly for military purposes.
Alternate arrangement were made for the passengers and the aircraft awaits further inspection.
