Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said, Mr. Bellow will be re-appointed as Chief Operating Officer and his task would be “to ensure that the pilot rostering failure which caused around 20,000 flight cancellations will never be repeated” and “Peter has an unrivalled knowledge of our business model and how we maintain controlled growth, with industry leading punctuality, for the benefit of our customers and our people”.
Mr. Bellow will be taking up the Chief Operating Officer position that he held before leaving to Malaysia Airlines.
The announcement surprised the Malaysia airlines Board as they were not officially informed of Mr.Bellow’s re-appointment with Ryanair.
