Karon Grieve 57, was surprised to see that she was the only passenger in a 189 seater jet2 aircraft from Glasgow to Crete Heraklion on Sunday. She paid only £46 for the trip and enjoyed a personalised hospitality from the crew.
When she was checking-in, she was told that only three people booked the flight, but when she boarded she found the other two didn’t show up.
Scottish cook book author was greeted with personalised commentary from the pilot addressing her name and pointing out the countries that the aircraft was flying over.
When the aircraft landed, her luggage was handed over to her from the plane so that she could just walkout without waiting for her baggage at carousel.
Karon is on her two month-long holiday while writing her upcoming romantic crime novel ‘A Cosy Crime’.
A spokeswoman for Jet2 said: “We’re delighted Karon got to experience our VIP customer service in style.”
