A five-year-old boy, Adam Mohamed Amer gave a pleasant shock to the cabin crew of the Etihad flight from Morocco to Abu Dhabi early this year, by displaying his in-depth knowledge about aircraft. He also was demonstrating what measures to be taken during an emergency situation. Lately news about this boy has been going around, the Etihad airways sent an invitation to this boy to their training center to attend a pilot training for a day.
Adam went to the pilot training with a pilot’s attire specially made for him. He was made the Captain of an Airbus A380 flight simulator that day.
“Adam knows more about how planes work than most adults. Wearing a very cool t shirt he explains the air liner’s emergency landing systems to the flight deck crew. We’re impressed.” Etihad Crew added, “His dream is to become a Captain of an A380 Airbus.”
Adam’s dad, Mohammed Amer, says “He spends much of his free time watching documentaries, reading aviation magazines, and researching different aircraft online,” With that kind of enthusiasm, we think he’ll be in the pilot’s seat for real before too long, Etihad crew concluded.
