Crystal AirCruises aircraft, was displayed to a select group of media and VIP guests in Malaysia to have a special exposure of the world’s largest privately-owned chartered tour jet. The aircraft, Boeing 777-200LR named Crystal Skye which was unveiled at the Subang Skypark is owned by Genting Group of Malaysia.
This type of aircraft when used for commercial flights could carry 386 passengers. But the retrofitted Boeing accommodates 88 passengers with luxurious facilities such as seats that can fold 180-degrees into flat beds, an expansive lounge and bar, spacious lavatories, cashmere blankets, noise-cancelling headphones and complimentary global WiFi.
The inaugural cruise was made last month to the South Pacific Islands of Tahiti and Fiji where all the seats were sold out. At present, Crystal Skye operates out of Hong Kong and soon Singapore too. Brown added that if there is demand for it, Kuala Lumpur is an option.
