A Cessna Caravan safari plane carrying 10 passengers crashed in Northern Tanzania killing all the passengers and the pilot. The bodies of the passengers have been recovered but not the pilot’s. There were foreign tourists and Tanzanians belonging to tourist industry were among the passengers.
Managing Director of the costal Aviation Julian Edwards said “I fly our planes regularly. I have the utmost faith in our crew and our equipment. On behalf of the entire team at Coastal, we will be doing everything we can to assist the pending investigation. Nothing is more important to us than passenger safety.”
The incident took place at the Empaakai Crater area
