A student pilot killed in a mid-air collision near the Rothschild’s Buckinghamshire estate last Friday, 17 November 2017. A Cessna 152 trainer aircraft crashed with a ‘sightseeing tour’ helicopter, that killed four people including a student pilot who dreamt of becoming an Airline pilot.
The 18-year-old Saavan Mundae was a student of Buckinghamshire New University studying air transport with commercial pilot training had only been flying for 9 weeks.
“Being a pilot is what I’ve wanted to do since I was young and it’s hit me hard and all of the Bucks Uni pilots that accidents still do happen when we think we are completely safe. We all need to stay strong and don’t forget the reason we fly” said a fellow student on the course
