A lady passenger became very disruptive in an easyJet flight EZY7124 which was heading to Liverpool from Alicante, Spain last night. The passenger was approached by cabin crew while downing alcohol that she had brought on board. But she was challenging the staff about her drinking.
The flight was diverted 800 miles away from the normal route. The plane was then forced to land at Bordeaux airport, where she was met by police who escorted her. Then those on-board were forced to wait for more than two hours before they could continue their journey.
A spokesman for easyJet said, “Whilst such incidents are rare, we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour on-board and always push for prosecution.”
