The airline flew more than 84,300 mainline flights in November and, together with its Delta Connection regional operation, flew more than 145,000 flights carrying more than 14.8 million customers. What was special I all these flights is there were no cancellations during the month.
It also set a record for on-time performance for any month in its post-merger history. In all, 82.5 percent of mainline flights arrived at the scheduled arrival time (A0) and 93.2 percent of flights arrived within 14 minutes of arrival time (A14). Delta’s previous record for both metrics was last set in October 2016.
Delta’s employees amount up to 80,000 who are committed to delivering a safe, reliable operation for around 180 million customers each year. During this year so far there were 84 days without a cancellation anywhere across the system. Last year’s total was 81.
