HERTFORDSHIRE: The incident happened at the Chiswell Green airfield
A light aircraft plunged into the ground at Chiswell Green which is around 3 miles away from St. Albans, England. Emergency services rushed to the scene at 12.30 pm, found the Pilot had serious injuries and he was taken to the hospital immediately.
The plane has crashed into the ground nose-first after taking off from Hertforshire. There was only one person on board. A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “A rapid response vehicle, two ambulance officers, one unit from our hazardous area response team (HART) and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
