“The Masterpiece,” the final Bombardier Global 7000 FTV, completes first flight successfully on 30 January 2018.
Bombardier Business Aircraft announced that “The Masterpiece,” the fifth and final test vehicle in the Global 7000 flight test program, successfully completed its first flight, that expects to enter into service in the second half of 2018.
Global 7000 is a ultra long-range business jet stretched 11.3ft from the original Global model. The business jet is designed to achieve a top speed of Mach 0.925 wiht a range of 7,300 nmi (13,500 km), and carry 10 passengers non-stop from London to Singapore, New York to Dubai, or Beijing to Washington.
With comfortable seating for six, the elegant Conference Suite of the Global 7000 jet will feature a dining room, a Club Suite for on board business meetings and a Master Suite, with comfortable permanent bed, having personal space features an unprecedented array of furnishing options, including a true stand-up shower. The cabin entertainment system will be powered by a Ka-band data link, allowing passengers to stream high-definition entertainment in flight.
