Red Arrows BAe hawk has crashed near Llangollen in North Wales. The RAF has confirmed the crash and the pilot reported to have ejected.
Ambulance from Welsh Ambulance Service was called at 1.30pm LT and is en-route and no further information is available regarding the condition of the pilot.
Red Arrows officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, are based at based at RAF Scampton, where Prince William served as a search and rescue helicopter pilot.
The crash reported to have occurred while preparing for the coming display season.
We are aware of an incident today at RAF Valley involving a Hawk aircraft. We are investigating the incident.
