Singapore Airlines (SIA) is investing US$350 million for the cabin products on its 20 Boeing 787-10s.
The 337 seats two class cabin has 36 seats in business and 301 in economy. The new cabin layout features a forward facing, 1-2-1 layout, to give every passenger a direct aisle access.
The business class is designed by Stelia Aerospace, that offers a width of 26 inches (about 66 cm) and a seat pitch of 44 inches, as well as additional stowage space and in-seat power supply.
The highlight of cabin is the premium class seats that can recline directly into a 76 inch long fully-flat bed.
Panasonic Avionics’ eX3 inflight entertainment system features 18in full high-definition touchscreen monitor on each Business class seats and 11.6in monitors on each economy class seats.
