The Bahrain national carrier, Gulf Air’s first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner conducted a fly pass the 2018 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix race showcasing the new Gulf Air livery.
The aircraft will be officially delivered on 27th April and will serve Gulf Air’s double daily London Heathrow service from 15th June 2018.
The airline has 21 Boeing 787s on order and will be taking delivery the first 5 before the end of this year, replacing its Airbus A330 fleet.
The Gulf Air has scheduled to introduce flights to Bangalore and Calicut in India, Alexandria in Egypt, Casablanca in Morocco, Baku in Azerbaijan, Abha and Tabuk in Saudi Arabia, and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.
The carrier’s new Boeing 787-9 will offer 282 seats in a two-class configuration, with 26 Falcon Gold Class seats and 256 Economy Class seats.
