Landing gear Axle broke on a Korean Air Boeing 777-300 aircraft after landing at Tokyo Narita airport, Japan
The flight KE703 from Incheon, Korea with 319 passengers and 16 crew onboard landed at Narita Airport on 29 June 2018 at 12:35 p.m. While taxing to the gate after landing, its right main landing gear aft axle broke.
One of the passenger said, “the aircraft was swaying to the left and right before the landing, and the right side was feeling tilted down when landing.”
Transport ministry has report the incident as ‘serious incident’ and dispatches four aircraft accident investigators.
No reported injuries, but the passengers were disembarked through airstairs after 90 minutes.
