Ethiopian Airlines has taken delivery of their very first Boeing 737MAX airplane on 1 July 2018. The aircraft routed from Seattle to Dublin Airport where it had a night stop before continuing onto Addis Ababa.
Africa’s largest and fastest-growing commercial airline, Ethiopian, has 30 Boeing 737MAXs on order and the first 737 MAX 8 landed at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
The Ethiopian single-isle 160 seats configuration 737 MAX-8 is powered by two CFM International LEAP-1B engines.
With this delivery, Ethiopian’s fleet of Boeing airplanes grows to 67 jets, which includes 20 B737s, 2 B757s, 6 B767s, 16 B777s and 22 B787 Dreamliner.
