Cyprus Airways,the flag carrier of Cyprus has successfully cleared the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA).
The airline based at Larnaca International Airport, underwent IATA audit in April 2018 after one year of operations.
Cyprus Airways was established in September 1947 and ceased operations on 9 January 2015. Then in 2016, Charlie Airlines Ltd, a registered company in Cyprus, won the tender for the right to use the trademark Cyprus Airways and began flight operations in June 2017.
The airline operates two Airbus A319s and connects Cyprus with 13 destinations in Europe, Russia and the Middle East.
