United Airlines plane’s cabin ceiling panel came loose and fell on a passenger after a hard landing at Dulles International Airport on Wednesday.
A passenger told the fox news, the flight from Amsterdam to Washington made a “hard landing” and “braking hard” and the “flight attendants could not help the passenger remove the panel until the plane slowed down.”
A spokesman for United Airlines said in a statement on Saturday that “an interior aircraft ceiling panel came loose upon landing, and made contact with a customer. Paramedics examined the customer to confirm there were no injuries. We’ve apologized to our customer for this experience, and our maintenance crew has repaired the panel.”

In June 2016, ceiling panels fell off from a United Boeing 767, flight 557, when it had to abort a landing after a rough touch down Newark airport.
