Airbus officially renamed Bombardier CSeries jets to Airbus brand A220 models. The CS100 is named as A220-100 and CS300 as A220-300.
The first CS300 was repainted into Airbus A220-300 livery and was presented at Toulouse Airbus facility, where its new official name was revealed.
From now onwards, CSeries jets will be delivered under French registration as Airbus A220-100 and A220 -300.
Airbus Acquired CSeries program for $0 as Bombardier was struggling to sell CSeries in U.S market because of heavy trade tariffs imposed on Bombardier planes to protect the local plane makers, mainly Boeing.
Airbus is expected to make a major marketing push for A220-100 and -300 Aircraft at the up coming Farnborough International Air Show in England.
