South Korean startup hybrid medium/long-haul carrier Air Premia is set to launch services in the first half of 2020.
The former president of Jeju Air is starting a new longhaul LCC in South Korea called AirPremia after securing $33 million in capital ahead of starting its license application process.
The airline is planning to offer economy and premium economy classes and operate on routes six hours and longer. using a fleet of Airbus A330neos or Boeing 787-9s.
Air Premia will be based at Seoul Incheon International Airport and said to commence operations with three aircraft and take delivery of two additional aircraft per annum.
