The flight-test Boeing 787 airplane that rolled out in Everett on July 8, 2007, goes on display in a retail complex in Japan.
The first 787 was on display as the centerpiece of a new, Seattle-themed retail complex at Chubu Airport. outside the Japanese city of Nagoya.
The new commercial complex, which opens on 12 Oct, was named “Flight of Dreams”, offers aviation related attractions, shopping and dining.
The jet was donated to the Chubu Centrair International Airport, by Boeing as about 35 percent of its parts, such as wings, are produced in the Chubu region.
