Russia and China together unveiled the first full-scale model of the upcoming #CR929 at Zhuhai Airshow, China, held from 6 to 11 November, 2018.
The CRAIC CR929, formerly known as Comac C929 wide-body twinjet airliner is co-designed and co-produced by China-Russia Commercial Aircraft International Corporation (CRAIC), to challenge the Airbus and Boeing duopoly.
The baseline model CR929-600, comes in three-class configuration, with capacity of 280 passengers, and shortened -500 variant with 250 passengers, and a stretched -700 with capacity for 320 passengers.
The -600 has a 12,000km (6,490nm) range., -500 variant, with a range of 14,000km, the -700 with a range of 10,000km.
The aircraft is scheduled for service in the late 2020s.
