France-The Department of Charente seized Ryanair plane on the tarmac at Bordeaux airport over a debt of 525.000 euros.

The airline demanded an extra €175,000 on top of a previous agreement., and in Feb, 2010, announced it was pulling out early after its demands for more money towards marketing costs were refused.

The council says, “Ryanair has been dragging its ears for two years to pay the bill, even hoping to cancel the order to pay the administrative court this summer.”
