Aeromexico flight to San Francisco was on the tarmac for 4 hours after being diverted to Oakland International Airport due to heavy fog.
The flight 662 from Guadalajara landed in Oakland at 10:40 a.m. and was on the on the tarmac for at least four hours.
Passengers said the cabin was “sweltering, crew did not give them food or water. Babies & elderly got sick.”… and at least two upset men being removed from the plane in handcuffs and placed into Alameda County Sheriff deputy patrol cars shortly before 3:00 p.m. Two female passengers were also taken off the plane to receive medical attention.
“We were WARNED that if we left or attempted to open the doors that the police would be waiting and we would be arrested,” the passenger tweeted.
At around 3:00 p.m., the plane was finally moved to a gate at Oakland airport where passengers were allowed to deplane.
