A strong earthquake damaged Clark International Airport in Philippines. At least 8 people killed and dozens more injured as a magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck the Philippines late Monday afternoon.
The airport terminal at Clark freeport located 43.2 NM northwest of Manila, was damaged. The check-in counters, ceilings and parts of the departure area are damaged, injuring seven people.
Airport is closed for 24 hours and more than 100 flights were canceled and diverted.
Clark airport handles some 8,000 passengers a day and over 600 flights a week, including those going to Singapore.
