Emirates Group may have cancelled Boeing 787-10s on order as there is no word about 787-10s on its 2019 annual financial report.
Emirates disclosed a $15 billion purchase order for 40 Boeing 787-10s at the 2017 Dubai air show, which would be delivered in 2022.
In their recapped future aircraft fleet, Emirates listed 234 upcoming deliveries, which comprise of 40 Airbus A330-900s, 30 A350-900s, 14 remaining A380s and 150 Boeing 777X jets., but no word about 787-10s.
Boeing never added the Emirates’s 787-10s to their order books, and both Boeing and Emirates have not confirmed the order cancellation. All we have now is a speculation that Emirates would be considering Airbus A350s or Boeing 777s instead of 787.
