Boeing is seeking advice outside the company for rebranding the 737MAX to gain public trust.
Speaking at the UBS Global Industrials conference in New York on 5 june. Boeing executive vice president for strategy, Greg Smith, said “we bring the best and brightest within the company and also from outside the company to help” to brand MAX and other Boeing airplanes.
“Our (priority) job is to get the plane up safely”… he added.
Smith also said, even after FAA clear the MAX, it will take weeks or months before the MAX get back into service, as there is “enormous logistical challenge” to get jets to airlines.
Boeing has completed the 737MAX software fix, and waiting for the verdict from aviation regulators worldwide, before it can process to get the MAX jets back in service.
