Boeing face headwinds at the upcoming Paris Airshow to score over Airbus.
First, Airlines may not rush to place orders for 737MAX, and the ongoing trade war between U.S and China.
The carriers likely do not want be linked publicly with 737MAX, as it may take months or even years to convince air travelers that the plane is safe, posing risks for them.
Boeing is also negotiating with Chinese Airlines the sale of 100 jets worth billions., But the orders will be a key bargaining chip for China in trade negotiations as it would require the approval of the Government of China.
In the meantime, Airbus is going to show with its longer-range A321neo versions of A321LR and A321XLR
