Saudia made an emergency landing at St.John’s Airport after 2-year-old child dies on board.
Police in St. John’s, say a two-year-old child was pronounced dead after an international flight made an emergency landing at the city’s airport today.
Saudi Arabian Airlines, Saudia Boeing 777 on flight 35 had departed from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and was heading to Washington, D.C. made an emergency landing at St. John’s International Airport is in Newfoundland and Labrador, at around 11:40 a.m. due to medical emergency.
Police officers and paramedics responded, and the toddler was pronounced dead shortly after the plane landed.
The flight bound for Washington, took off from St. John’s at 3 p.m.LT
