A Philippine Airlines Boeing 777-300ER made an emergency landing at Los Angeles Airport after an apparent engine compressor stall on Thursday.
The flight 113 bound for Manila carrying 342 passengers and 18 crew members, retuned to Los Angles shortly after takeoff and safely landed at 11.10 am LT.
The video showed bursts of flames apparently shooting out from the General Electric GE90 engine on the right side of the aircraft.
No injuries were reported.
Footage from inside Philippine Airlines Flight 113 shared with me from the woman who shot this, she says she started praying and that’s when the plane banked back to LAX. @KFIAM640 pic.twitter.com/NnNC68cgsa
