An Ethiopian Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, on flight ET-357 overran the end of the runway during takeoff at Juba International Airport in South Sudan on Tuesday.
The flight ET-357 from Juba (South Sudan) to Addis Abada (Ethiopia) with 21 people on board, was accelerating for takeoff, but overran the end of the runway before coming to a stop on soft ground.
The aircraft sustained substantial damage, after its left main gear gave way causing damage to the left wing, left engine, left propeller blades broken and debris of the left propeller puncturing the fuselage.
All 21 people on board are reported safe, there were no injuries.
