Israeli El-Al airline Boeing 787-9 hit an electricity pole while being towed to a remote parking stand at Las Vegas International Airport in Nevada, U.S.A
The aircraft with 300 passengers landed from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, and were disembarked before moving the aircraft to a remote parking lot.
The impact on the electric pole was so strong that caused a brief power outage throughout the Las Vegas airport.
According to reports, the ground worker decided not to wait for wing men to assist, and independently towed the aircraft to the parking lot, which at some stage, due to oversight during the maneuver, the wing hit the electric pole.
The aircraft is grounded for repairs.
