The first flight of Boeing 777x is set to takeoff on 23 January 2020 at around 10AM local time from Boeing’s assembly line facility near Everett, Washington.
The aircraft powered by GE9x engines wll takeoff from Paine Field at 10:00 Seattle time, depending on weather conditions, and will remain in the air until 15:00.
Boeing originally planned for the maiden flight in 2019 and begin deliveries in 2020, however issues with engine and structures forced the company to delay first flight.

Boeing 777x comes in two variants of 777-8 and 777-9. The 777-8 provides seating for 365 passengers and has a range of 8,690 nmi (16,090 km) while the 777-9 has seating for 414 passengers and a range of over 7,525 nmi (13,936 km).
