Germany’s largest carrier, Lufthansa has removed two Airbus A350 aircraft from its commitment with Airbus.
The revised order was reflected in Airbus’ latest backlog revision covering January 2020.
Lufthansa placed an oder for 25 A350-900s in 2013 and firmed this order last year with a deal for another 20.
Lufthansa has already taken delivery of 14 Airbus A350s powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines by the end of January 2020.
By the end of January 2020, Airbus has secured order for 935 A350 jets, comprising 759 of the -900 and 176 of the larger -1000.
