UTair Boeing 737-500 was damaged in a hard landing at Usinsk Airport (UUYS), Russia on 9 Feb 2020.
The aircraft on flight UT595 from Moscow Vnukovo airport with 94 passengers and 6 crew, made a hard landing on runway 13 at about 12:21LT.
The aircraft touched down short of the runway threshold, with such a force the overhead panels broke loose.
Touch down was so hard that both main gear struts collapsed, causing the aircraft to skid on its nose gear and belly to a stand still off the runway. Wing was damaged resulting in a fuel spill, but no fire broke out.
All passengers were evacuated via emergency slides and overwing exits.
Only two passengers received minor injuries.
