Boeing recorded no orders in January 2020, while its rival Airbus recorded net orders for 274 commercial aircraft for the same January.
Last year in January, Boeing recorded orders for 45 commercial jets. In the past 25 years, Boeing has never had no orders in January.
Meanwhile, the European planemaker delivered 31 aircraft, recorded 274 orders in January 2020.
Airbus received order from U.S based low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines for 100 A320neo family jets that competes directly with the 737.
Airbus also recorded orders from Los Angeles-based lessor Air Lease Corp for 102 aircraft, including 50 A220-300s and 27 A321XLRs.
The crisis with 737MAX has dragged the Boeing to its bottom in terms of sales and reputation.
