Airbus has recorded no orders for February 2020, but secured a total of 274 orders for commercial aircraft in January 2020.
Airlines are actively cutting flights, grounding aircraft and asking employees to take unpaid leave as a result of Coronavirus outbreak.
Some airlines deferred the deliveries and placed no new orders as the demand for air travel has declined tremendously.
In February, Airbus delivered 55 aircraft to 35 customers. These include 40 A320 Family aircraft, four A220s, seven A350 XWBs and two A330 Family planes.
As for today, Airbus’ backlog stands at 7,670 aircraft.
