LOT Polish Airlines has announced it is temporarily suspending all flight operations from 15 March for at least 10 days.
The announcement came after Poland announced to close its borders and halt international travel, including trains and flights amid the Coronavirus crisis.
LOT Polish Airlines, is the flag carrier of Poland based in Warsaw, operates a fleet of 70 aircraft to 120 destinations.
LOT which was started in 1928, is one of the world’s oldest airlines in operation to halt entire flight operations due to Coronavirus outbreak.
The Ministry of Health has confirmed 84 coronavirus cases in Poland as of Saturday morning. So far, two people, who also suffered from other medical conditions, have died.
In total, 16 new cases have been diagnosed since Friday.
