A British Airways Boeing 747 caught fire in Spain.
The 26 years old aircraft registered G-CIVD, is the one of the retired BA 747 fleet parked in a remote stand in Castellón, Spain.
In July this year, British Airways announced that it would retire all of its Boeing 747-400s prematurely due to ongoing low travel demand.
The aircraft was flown from London to Castellon on August 18, and has been parked there ever since, preparing to be scrapped
Firefighters at a Castellón Airport in Valencia, Spain, were able to extinguish the blaze, but the jet suffered major damage.
