Another Qantas Boeing B747-400ER VH-OEE “Nullarbor” departed Sydney Airport with a water cannon salute this morning, Tuesday June 16, heading for Los Angeles as QF6001 and then into retirement in Southern California’s Mojave Desert,
This Boeing B747-400ER VH-OEE is the second last 747 in the Qantas Fleet, with VH-OEJ to depart in a few weeks time.
Qantas had been operating 65 Boeing 747s since its debut with Qantas in 1971,
