Philippines Airlines PAL, made history by flying its farthest non-stop flight with a Boeing 777-300ER, covering roughly 9,758 miles between Manila and Florida.
The 16 hour and 9 minute flight repatriated 345 Filipinos from Miami back home to the Philippines.
It is the fastest record by the flyPAL, because on 10 November 2005, Pakistan International Airlines flew the world’s longest flight by a commercial airliner with Boeing 777-200LR, flying over 21,000 KM on an eastbound flight from Hong Kong to London for 22 hours and 22 minutes
